Live for the Moment

You don't even say good night,
We never talk, its not the same.
Our 10 lettered conversations,
An unforgiving game.

You are slowly slipping away,
Soon we'll be nothing at all.
Not remembered or forgotten,
Simply, never were.

I miss the cuddling,
Silent stares and our invisable kiss,
Are now nothing but memories,
As the story turns, to someone else's lips.

I guess it's my fault.
Seems its always that way.
I'll head on, to the next in line,
Only to have my hopes handed to me again.

Im getting used to this now, how life really is.
Live for the moment,
Because thinking any further.
Only leads to disappointment
