The snowflakes fall with grace
Crowning the head of brownish blonde
Shaking hands are clasped together
A small mist like smoke being seen near her mouth
Frosted lips are parted and trembling
Eyes of hazel stare at the moon above
A porcelian face with tear stained cheeks
Is painted with a rosy color and white snowflakes
Another tear rolls down that rounded
And pudgy doll like face of hers
Lashes kissed with white kiss their twin set
The lonely trudge through the cold is resumed
Snow being crunched beneath booted feet
The world around her was a winter wonderland
A place so beautiful with winter surroundings
Though all was silent on this night
Jealousy errupted staring at this bliss
Leafless and bare trees with settled snow
Glowing windows of houses that were drenched in the blanket
The world seemed so perfect with its pure color
But there was a gnawing feeling inside
Just because it was so sweet and lovely out here
Didn't mean behind closed doors was some
Yelling and screaming, causing emotional pain
This outside world was just like her face
First sight it was as beautiful as glowing snow
But in a mirror's relfection is something different
The world is really cruel and spoiled to the bone
With dead trees and vacant streets
That are crowded with rusted leaves
Her face was no different from the world
It was misshaped, blue and black bruise streaked
Foundation easily to hide the lie she lived
Tears adding to all the grief in the reflection
But who knew something so perfect looking
And "beautiful", could really be this?
