I'm To Blame

Whose to blame for all life's pains
That everybody knows
That everybody, looks upon
Yet no one stays to watch the show
Whose to blame for all the hurt
Thats bundled up inside
Inside of you, and me, dear child
I can see it in your eyes
Whose to blame for daily hell
Whose to blame for hate
For those who kill anothers heart
Those who discriminate
Whose to blame for a perfect life
That simply fades away
Because of such a perfect world
Not so perfect, thought, today?
Can we blame the heartless
And the ones who put us down
Those who shove it in our face
While our hearts sink underground
Can we blame the hopeless
Who give up on this life
Could I blame who has nothing left
Then, would that be right?
I will not blame these people
Of whom I do not know
But I can see these people
When I put on my clothes
I can see these people
As I wake from endless sleep
I can see a million of them
All, inside of me
When I wake up, soon today
From this endless dream
I'll think upon the fading night
And think of what I've seen
I saw a thousand people
That I have so disgraced
I laughed, and joked, and broke their hearts
Amidst a weeping face
I saw a thousand people
I walked by, without hello
When I could have greeted them with love
And watched their own love grow
So I will not blame all of those
Who hate society
With reasons, that I shall never know
Hate all that they shall see
If you blame those people first
Than I shall disagree
For I can see a million of them
All, inside of me
