I am the entertained and the entertainer
I wonder what’s behind the camera.
I hear the music asking me to dance.
I see the bright stage lights pointing at me.
I want my name to be known in lights.
I am the entertained and the entertainer

I pretend I’m watching my own face on t.v.
I feel the drama surrounding my facial expressions.
I touch the lives of people through my talent.
I worry that one day I will not make someone laugh or cry.
I cry when I make mistakes that influence my dreams
I am the entertained and the entertainer.

I understand that as I grow I will have to work hard to succeed
I say, “Never secede or you’ll never succeed.”
I dream of one day watching myself entertain people around the nation.
I hope that I will achieve my highest goals.
I am the entertained and the entertainer.
