As I try to fix myself
Erase the ugly
I skin myself alive

These filthy hands
The dirty deeds I’ve done
Skin me alive

Build the walls around me
Don’t let me escape
Hold me in contempt
Make the world a better place

Take me away
Torture and beat me
Suicide is ignorant
So stand me up against the wall

Make the incision
Put your fingers under my skin
Peel back the flesh
Skin me alive

Open me up
Take a look inside
The blackened heart
All the lies

Sit me down
Place the metal wreath upon my head
Flip the switch
And make me dead

Lay me face down
Raise the blade
As I blink my eyes
I fade away
