Unfilled Heart

Why does the thought of you take away so much of me?
Each day wandering helplessly without you.
I await the day I will be with you again,
No need to shed a tear.
I hear your voice in my head,
It steals my thoughts of others.
I see you in a shed of light,
Smiling, reaching to grasp me.
Without you, I am in exile.
Do you think of me?
Love me as I love you?
So many questions, I wonder,
Yet so afraid to ask them.
Thinking of you in your daily activities,
Makes me feel closer to you.
Memories which were once reality,
“Me gustas mucho,” still run through my head.
I will see my love soon,
And the whole in my heart will be filled, once again.
