Little johnny was a boy
Unlike all the rest
Little Johnny had a dream
Though he was not the best
Little Johnny mad mistakes
And little Johnny cried
No one told him lift your head
Just give it one more try
Little Johnny failed himself
And little Johnny fell
He fell into this Johnny place
He drifted into Hell
Johnny gave up his hope
Johnny lost his pride
Johnny saw his failures
And inside, Johnny died
Billy was a little boy
Who told him get back up
Billy tried and tried again
But Johnny's heart was stuck
Billy tried his best, again
Billy made it far
Billy made it on T.V.
Billy was a star
Billy, then, saw Johnny, one day
And Johnny turned away
Johnny sat in his regrets
There was nothing he could say
But Billy couldn't either
They sat there, motionless
Billy made his dreams come true
But Johnny could only wish
Billy left, and Johnny cried
He wished he would forget
So many wishes, so much time
To think of his regrets
To think about what could be done
If a childhood would last
He weeps upon his moribund future
And weeps upon the past
