Yesterday I saw the ring on your finger
I cried out for the love that wouldn't linger
All my hopes of life are left behind me
Now that pain on loss is sure to find me

The morning comes and shines through my window
Just another day without a sender
All I see is that white dress in my dreams
But your with another man it seems

I'll be your forbidden singer
Singing songs to help make you remember
I'll be your forbidden singer
Waiting long in hope that you'll remember

Everytime I saw you holding hands with that man
I think about that life I almost had
But I'll never know the love around you
Seems to me another love has found you

I'll be your forbidden singer
Singin songs in hopes that you'll remember
I'll be your forbidden singer
Waiting long so that I will forget her.
