I'm giving up,
and letting go,
to the man I once,
used to know.
He made me happy,
made me smile.
He made living life,
something worth while.
Giving up,
is harder than it seems,
I wish it only existed,
in my dreams.
He changed his ways,
lost interest in me.
He wanted something else,
and wanted to be free.
Giving up on the one,
makes you feel,
like nothing goes right,
and nothing is real.
So I'm saying goodbye,
letting go of the love,
I have no choice,
but to give up.
