Camouflaged Eyes

My love lies here, between the veins and the flesh.
Where my mind cannot linger and my heart would rather not go.
Camouflaged emotions
Of love I dare not show
My soul is tainted by evil
My mind is touched by madness
I can love you
But only from afar
Can you see it in my eyes?
Here in this flesh that you would rather not touch,
Suppresses a maiden, dancing on glass; waiting to see if you’ll ever
concede.
Shall I run and hide
Or shall I stay and slowly die inside
All around, I hear a strange, soft song, your powerful voice and your
violent laughter.
Camouflaged emotions
Set forth to pain and silent cries
I must confess; I would rather be dead.
Can you see it my eyes
I tremble when you are near
And find comfort within your embrace
So many things I dare not say
So many things I try and hide
Behind camouflaged eyes
My love lies here, within the veins and the flesh.
All the places where you have been and still remain
and for that
I hate you more
But love you no less.
