The Mon I love


To a mon who broke my heart,
A mon who when he said,
“I love you,” meant “I love you”
Until. . .I find something better.
A natural born salesmon,
Who can make you feel special mon,
And believe anything he says mon,
A mon who could make you believe
That the sky was red mon,
A mon who can make you believe
That he could have made the earth
In five days mon,
A mon who actually made me believe. . .
Believe that he loved me mon.
How could you not love that mon?
I thought that he was an honest mon,
But that’s what he told me mon,
We were supposed to be together mon,
Even raise a family together mon,
Have a house by the lake
With 2.5 kids and a dog mon,
How could he have left me mon,
For another wo-mon.
You forgot to tell me about her mon,
I believed that you were an honest mon,
Can’t believe what you told me mon,
It was all just a lie to mon,
I cried all night mon,
How could you do this to me mon,
I never tried to hurt you mon,
I did everything for you mon,
And you did everything for me.
You even got down on your knee mon,
And looked me in the eyes mon,
You told me that you loved me mon,
And that you’d never to hurt me mon,
That I was the only one mon,
I know that it’s all a front mon,
I know that it’s all over now,
That we were not meant to be together mon,
I just hoped that you are happy mon,
With whom ever you commit to mon,
I would like to believe mon,
That I’d find someone new mon,
But til then mon,
I still love you mon.
I would like to believe mon,
That you loved me too mon,
Oh. . .I forgot--
That was just a lie too mon.
Though I’d like to believe that you did mon,
All the wonderful times we’ve had mon,
All the wonderful moments we’ve shared mon,
All the wonderful love we’ve made.
Was it all just a game mon,
Did you ever have love for me mon,
Was I just something to waste your time mon,
After all this mon,
I still love you mon.
Maybe I’m just crazy mon,
At least I was honest mon,
But until then mon,
I have to let you go mon,
I have to go cry now mon,
I just wanted you to now mon,
That you still have my heart mon.
