I don’t know why
I continue
Thinking every day
Breathing every day
Living every day
Because every day
Turns out for the bad
And my world
Turns out for the bad
And my life is already
Turning out for the bad
And the swirls and spirals
Encircle me slowly
Taking away my happiness
And I complain
And others are upset
So I listen to them
And they listen
And help
But when they leave
The spirals and swirls
Come back to haunt me
And they won’t leave
Me alone
So music is my antideath
And I listen
And it envelops me
Into happiness
But when it stops
The spirals and swirls
Come back to kill me
Slowly dying inside
Everyone else’s problem
That has become my life
So nature and art
Are all tried
But when the painting is done
Or the walk is over
The spirals and swirls
Come back and won’t leave
Until I’m gone
And now nothing can be saved
My friends
My music
My art
My life
