i walk around
oblivious to the world
people pass around me
and stare at the lonely girl

but i dont even notice
the whispers and the stares
because no one tries
no one cares

so i sit alone in my room
every lonely night
trying to forget
the never-ending fight

as i look around me
i see people moving along so fast
without a word spoken
theyre already part of my past

sometimes i want to hit pause
just stop it all
but i cant
because i know i'll fall

theres nothing keeping me
things just arent the same
everyone thinks im fine
and doesnt see the pain

i guess they choose not to see it
because it shows with every blink
everytime my eyes open again
i feel my heart sink

im wishing for the perfect day
when im no longer here
that beautiful day
when that pain is not near
