Drowning in Sorrow

It wasn’t supposed to end this way
I shouldn’t be crying anymore
But now I’m torn, shattered
Bound and broken on the floor

Drown away the sorrow
Drown it all away
I can’t stand the look in his eyes
I don’t know why he didn’t stay

Black tears wash away dreams of love
Why bother anymore?
Red tears wash away the pain of him
I can’t take it anymore

Vulnerable and bare
I gave myself to you
You took what you wanted
Left when you were threw

You broke my spirit and myself
You dissolved my soul away
I need you here next to me
Oh baby, why didn’t you stay?

Black tears wash away dreams of love
Why bother anymore?
Red tears wash away the pain of him
I can’t take it anymore

I can’t take this emptiness
I just want his arms to shield the pain
I have nothing more to lose
But everything to gain

Come back to me
And save me from this bitter cold
Come and kiss my tears away
I just want you to hold

My black tears washed away my dreams
I won’t bother anymore
My red tears washed away my pain
I couldn’t take it anymore
I’m sick of crying
I’m slowing dying
Drowning my life away.
