I just don't get it,
you're turning your back.
You're scared and tense,
but need to relax.
You don't want to get hurt,
but it's you I adore.
I'll never let you down,
I'll give you so much more.
You don't need to worry,
I'll stay by your side,
when you go crazy,
and get lost in your mind.
You're afraid of the loss,
and afraid of the pain.
You're afraid of feeling,
like you're the one to blame.
We won't last forever,
not many things do.
But what we have is now,
we might just get through.
So sit back and think,
