Lethal Liquid Ecstasy

This fully addictive soul thief
reeks the very gut of an induced generation.

She picks off sons and daughters
of families who strive to stay alive.

Causing mothers to send their cries nightly
meandering to the ears of a God thought to have left them.

She sends a cracking, lonely sound
to the ears of a good friends heart.

The same heart that struggles to cope
with a void that collapses his souls well-being.

She is the name for a heroic woman,
but by no means does she save anyone.

She is passed about by her executioners,
who falsely advertise her veneer of a heavenly feeling.

In fact, she only destroys the hearts and lives
of those who partake in her.

For a time still alive,
but not . . . all . . . there.

Not willing to be a part of a world that hates them,
they choose her to help them to depart for the few hours that she promises.

However, she takes all the time she wants,
and she wants all.

Who will be heroic?
And save those from this heroin.
