Watch the dancing swirls of torment
As they flow through my head
Chaotic bubbling colors
Filling me with dread

My insecurities haunt me
Scarring my very soul
Bouncing and tearing apart my heart
Preventing my ever being whole

I hate the way you make me feel
With your sweet and innocent face
A smile fills me with such joy
But leaves me with disgrace

Professing unofficial love
Your affection is very discrete
I want to fill this void with hope
Please make me feel complete

I am just a weak-hearted fool
It’s difficult to take things slow
But I want this pain to fade away
So let us see where all this goes
