so much disappointment in this life
and the pain that eats away at my heart
it makes me sick to know
that darkness is all tat i feel

i'd once known love
the darkest corner of my heart
had shown itself and showed me
how to love again
after life's disappointments
i never thought i could love again
that the darkness would consume me
and hold on forever, never letting me go
never letting me feel
never letting me love

remote and isolated in the corner,
lost for so long
unknown and untouched
was wat i had longed for
eternal bliss,
...it was my heart.
