Day After Yesterday

today... is the day after yesterday
and my mind can still here you say, how much you love to feel this way.
tangled and twisted with each other as the sun rotates around the earth.
the light shines bright upon our faces as the new day is giving birth.
the wind blows calm but strong, as the cool breeze blows between us, we
cuddle closer together to get warm.
as our eyes meet we seem to discover a desire like no other, we see the
passion the ecstasy and the love we have for one another.
slow soft breaths are taken and anxious kisses are exchanged, and in my
subconscious mind my soul is telling me to maintain.
maintain composure, make sure you keep your guard up tight, because you
don't want her to know how you really feel about what happened last
night.
you see... last night was the most incredible time in my life.
you confirmed the rhyme to my reasons for making you my wife.
baby I'm in love with you its just so hard to explain, but I'm
afraid to tell you how I feel sometimes so thats why I choose to
maintain....
but as I visualize your smile and embrace your warm tender touch... I
realize that I don't have to be afraid and you love me very much.
so on this new day we will begin our life together in our own special
way...
and I promise to love you now and forever starting
today,
the day after yesterday...
