The Life I Couldn't Write

My life is but a mystery
That I could never be
My life is locked inside itself
And time shall bear the key
My life is one I couldn't tell
One I could not explain
If a thousand eyes lay dead on me
I'd still stand vague and plain
I've tried to write about my life
Write about my past
I'd write about, just any time
But my thoughts would never last
I'd tried to give you all a peice
Of the person I've become
I'd tell you all the thoughts I have
If I only had some
I'd tell you just what I shall be
When future comes around
Tell you about my suicide
As I write, upon the ground
I'd tell you how I made it far
And got my name in lights
Or just how far a person goes
When they're a person, no one likes
I'd tell you how I failed myself
As I lay upon the streets
Writing behind the liquor store
And lying on my sheets
I'd tell you about a movie star
A famous figurehead
And how I'd never know another's pain
Till the day that I drop dead
I'd tell you all perfection
If only that, I knew
If I had a life, I could explain
I'd forever, talk to you
But my life is but a mystery
A burden to my soul
Where time shall but deny me
To reach my every goal
My life is but a process
I'll watch, slowly evolve
My life is an equation
That only time can solve
