The Light You Cast

I am sorounded by beauty, in all that I do,
The birds sing their sweet songs, the sun shinning through,
Children run laughing, as troubles unfurl,
freshly cut flowers, not a care in the world.

Lovers lay kissing in feilds of long grass,
They wisper sweet nothings of days yet to pass,
Basking in glory of God's Glorius light,
With great expectations of the hot sinful night.

Yet in all of this beauty, in these great skies of blue,
I sit alone crying, as my heart breaks in two.
