Drowning in a pool of depression
School books in one arm, a baby in the other
People staring, pointing, mumbling cruel words under their breath
Don't worry baby, mommy loves you
Millions of thoughts
Always on my mind
There's no end to this madness
Disowned from my family
Don't worry baby, mommy loves you
Kicked out on the streets
No place to go
No food for my baby and mine's stomachs
No clothes to cover our backs
No roof over our heads
Sitting on the streets in the pouring down rain
Don't worry baby, mommy loves you
My tears join the already fallen drops
No way to escape it
I feel so alone
It's cold
I'm hungry, I'm tired
I watch my baby as she shivers in her sleep
I hold her close to my breast
Don't worry baby, mommy loves you
