A sudden chill has come to pass
You gave it to me little lass
Anger, fear, aggression or maybe worse

Blue walls closing in on me
It’s getting frightening can’t you see?
For when it’s gone nothingness is left

But nothingness is a funny word
To anyone else it may sound absurd
But nothingness is another word for joy

Follow the trail of broken men
All the way to the very end
Finding you was fairly easy indeed

Then I’ll crumple up my ball of blue
My last dying strength will give it to you
For this was the blueness that you gave to me

Now I can turn and walk away
I feel much better, I must say
The time is now and nothing here is wrong

I won’t compare the now to then
The past was painful, not my friend
But now nothing’s wrong, it’s nothingness you see?

A happy ending to this story
There is no past, to make it gory
You can find me in a different time of now

Right now I’m existing only here
Just as you’re existing only there
And nothing’s wrong no matter how you feel

The trees are tall, the sun is bright
A perfect sunset, everything’s right
You’ve hurt me but the hurting is now dead

I’m seeing you, the creator of blue
Whether you can find it is up to you
I’m taking a step away from the path you led

We could be perfect in another time
But that’s not now, as I remind
And now there is nothingness, and I can be
