Why put others down I say
I thought for a second
Poetry was a form of expression
or more less a confession
Going through someone’s mind at a point in time
Some make it seem like they've committed a crime
For writings that others may not understood
Yeah some may turn out good
Some may turn out worst then expected
Isn’t this one way that we all feel connected?
Rather then to put someone down
Why not try to understand where they're coming from
None of us holds a crown
On who we think should write or who shouldn't write
We’re on the same side searching for that light
Put yourself in someone Else's shoes
Maybe then you'll stumble on some clues
Instead of passing the wrong judgment
Based on a particular subject written
Everyone has their up and down days
So why is it wrong if one dares to share it?
On a few lines bound to get hazed
Why put others down I say
Think back on the times
When you had your helpless days
Why put others down I say
If the best thing one can do
Is lend out some support
To make the next generation of poets
Become superb writers!!!
