The Depths of My Mind


Lost with no hopes of being found

Into the depths of my mind

Never letting anyone in

No one ever taking the time

To get to know the person hiding.


Hiding so far down

Down into the depths of hell

A hell of my own making

Not knowing how to get out.

Reaching for that all-powerful white light...


Sinking, Sinking

Barely able to breathe

An Angel of mercy is all that I need


A glimmer of hope comes fluttering through

My darkness shattered

A great breakthrough!

A mirror of thoughts to bring me out

But wait, its only me reflection

My unending self-doubt.
