They call me sunshine
With my cute blonde hair
And freckles that cover from here to there
I’m the sweetest girl you’ll ever have known
But now it’s time for me to go.
Why you ask? Its simple you see
This masquerade of love and sympathy
Is just a sham for how I really feel
Behind the sadness and now I kill
To have anyone hold more or dare to get close
So now I’ll leave, I suppose
Somewhere where I’m not judged or rated
Where kisses are meaningful, warm and love hasn’t faded
It isn’t sunny anymore
And darkness is a bore
Where life is enjoyed, this is what I pine
They call me sunshine
