Snowfall Thou Art The Blest

I would freeze just to see thee fall again
To watch thou glisten in the light of dawn
And shimmer by light of moon in the glen
To see thee once more before thou hath gone

I would freeze within thy cold eternally
If it meant my pains be numbed internally

May all my woes lose way in thy beautiful scene
Whilst I waste away gladly in thy chill serene

To all whom doth not favor thy sweet touch
Those intertwined in and of summer’s clutch
Forgive them for they see not thy tranquility
Nor thy elegance by virtue in winters gentility

To all whom bask in thy refined icy image kind
In thy flakes of white, every frosty star benign
Thou hast already blessed them with thy snow
Of thy splendor and thy grace they ardently know

All year I long for thee to arrive, bringing flurry
Thou doth impress me with hither brought fury

Lo the beheld winters only child by foul glance
Glance never longer shall miss her child’s dance

Indeed I shall freeze to nearest death my love
To witness again thy snowfall, it’s descent to rest
To wallow in thy wake, bathe lastingly in and of,
For snow, daughter of winter, thou art the blest
