I met you there
Promising peaceful bliss
With just one slight kiss
And so I succumbed

Like fire you spread
My body you ravaged
The pain was so savage
And I started to die

The world began to slip
As everything faded
My vision was jaded
And I forgot why I cared

You must be purged
So I made the decision
To cut an incision
And bleed you out of my life

Away it all dripped
But you did not care
Instead, laughing at my despair
You decided to throw me away

I must finish faster
So I attached the leeches
Their sucking, it teaches
That all can be bled out

But they were not fast enough
My bruised wrists I slash
And with a muted crash
You gushed out onto the floor

Away it all went
As my consciousness goes
I now finally know
That you control my life no more
