Don’t stand there and tell me you love me. I don’t want your love.
Don’t stand there and stare at me, waiting for me to reach for you
I am stronger now then I have ever been. I am no longer that girl that you
met.
I have grown up. I no longer need you to save me. So go ahead and do what
you do best and walk out that door, the door you had no problem walking out
of before.
You see if you left today I would not come looking for you. Why should I?
Did you come looking for me, when I needed you the most?
You say you love me. You say you can’t live without me.
And you won’t let me go. But I am here to tell you that you don’t have to
let me go
I have already left.
I am no longer going to be responsible for you feelings I am not going to be
held prisoner to your emotional meltdown.
So don’t stand there and tell me you love me. I don’t want your love.
Don’t stand there and stare at me, waiting for me to reach for you.
I no longer need you
