Whenever I got close enough
To feel his breath
The cool of my mouth
Frosts his eyes shut
And he cannot see me
He cannot love me
I claw at his eyes that once were a crystalline blue
Are now soaked with jealous blood
Why won’t he see me
What can I do to make him love me
A tear from his eyes burns a hole through my heart
My special place for him way down deep
And the closer I tried to get
The more it burned
The more I yearned
Love can’t be forced
Stolen
Or stripped
No matter how many tries
To captivate
His blue eyes
