warped melodies
playing through my mind
don't know where i'm going
someone i want to find
pushing through others
in my heavy gown
watching for him
staggering all around
but it seems i'm invisible
because as i run with all of my might
they all continue to dance
so i continue my flight
looking, watching
in every direction
i know he's here
he's my disease, my infection
and suddenly
no warning at all
i stop, frozen dead
hearing his call
he whispers my name
with such decieving sweetness
i know that he's lying
but it's too much to resist
and oh, how want him to take care of me
and grant his vow of happiness
my heart seeps with warning
telling me he's the gatekeeper of the empty abyss
but i refuse the prophecy
taking in my ignorance
barley trusting myself
in my own confidence
and as i hear him calling, calling,
my name he is calling
and i step closer as i see him
and with every step i'm falling
but i continue to step closer
and he grabs me by the hand
and we dance as the people do
we dance as i'm damned
and we dance below the people
with warped meoldies in my mind
and only my heart knows
but i continue to see blind
and we dance, and dance
until i breathe my last breath
and that concluded
my dance with death
