Minus Your Kiss

If I had a rose to keep
For every time you made me smile
I'd have a beautiful garden, that's been growing for a while
And thoughts of you would fill my mind when I go to sleep

The pounding under my breast
scares me in an enticing way
How i wish you'd come and stay
The enchantment of you that fills my chest

And the birds will sing us a Nightingale song
And the sky will keep us together, hidden in the dark of night
Blanketing any of our past fights
It's so hard for me
To say goodnight and so long

if I were to lose your kiss
My heart would shatter
You're all that matters
This everlasting bliss

I'll hold your hand
For as long as you'll let
You've stolen my body and mind
With your charm, intellect, and eyes so kind
As we watch the sun set.
