Buried deep in the shadows
Lies a sour soul
Afraid of the light
When no one knows
Lurking through the night
All alone
Lurking in the shadows
On their own
Deep inside the sour soul weeps
It needs love
It needs someone
Someone that it has never heard of
But love cannot accept the soul
It destroyed its passion
Without hesitation
It destroyed its own life within
Hiding in the dark
